Marcias Ltd is the company behind Sprung Gym Flooring, Superstrata and McKays. Floors for gyms, flooring for commercial projects, and business records for AI.
Three businesses with one thing in common: we know floors, buildings and the paperwork behind them inside out.
For home and commercial gyms
The UK’s largest online rubber gym flooring retailer. Rubber flooring, gym mats and tiles for home gyms, garages and commercial facilities, delivered across the UK and Ireland.
For architects, designers and fit-out teams
Specification-grade performance flooring for gyms, sports, wellness and leisure projects. Specified, supplied and supported from first enquiry to handover.
For business owners and insolvency practitioners
We buy UK business records, take out the personal details and sell them straight to AI labs. Emails, quotes, drawings, job files and more, from every sector.
Marcias was founded by Richard McKay, a quantity surveyor with 30 years in construction. Before Marcias, he ran McKay Flooring from 2011 to 2020.
In 2020 he started Sprung Gym Flooring with £7,000. It’s now the UK’s largest online rubber gym flooring retailer. Superstrata followed, for architects and commercial projects that need proper specification. McKays is the newest: it turns old business records into something AI labs will pay for.
Projects Richard has worked on include the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Manchester City’s training ground, Google HQ, the Scottish Parliament and Gleneagles.
